How it fits
Your own account, and a page for your work
Your page is separate from your account. Your account stays private. Make a page for the business you own or the organization you hire for, and you can still look for work as yourself.
Making a page is free. You make it from your own personal account. IOPPS reviews each page once before it’s public.

Three things to know
Your account stays private
Your applications, saved jobs, alerts and résumé are yours alone. There’s no public profile and no member search.
Employers see only what you send with an application.
Your page is separate from your account
It has its own name, logo, jobs and team, and it’s public once IOPPS approves it. Page notices show in your bell, labelled with the page’s name.
Switch to it from your name at the top of any page.
Applicants see your name with the page
When you write to someone about their application, they see your name with the page’s name and logo. Never your profile or a photo.

How it works for you
You have one IOPPS account with two sides: you, and the page you run. Here it is with a sample page, Prairie Ember Bannock Co., a food truck in North Battleford, SK.

Your page has no sign-in of its own. Your team signs in with their own accounts.
One bell for both sides
Your own notices and your page’s notices arrive in the same bell. Page notices are labelled with the page’s name.

Your team
People join only by your invite, or when IOPPS confirms a claim to the page. Each signs in with their own personal account. Editors post, update and delete jobs, events and scholarships. Admins can also edit the business page, review applicants and messages, and see payment history. Only the owner buys posts and plans and manages the team.

One personal account, one organization for now
For now an IOPPS account can be on one organization’s team. Write to info@iopps.ca and we’ll help.
What never crosses between the two sides
Your page never shows your applications, saved jobs or profile.
Applicants see your name with the page when you write to them, never your profile or a photo.
Your team sees your name and email, nothing else from your account: never your own applications, registrations, saved items or settings.
Employers you apply to see your application, not the page you run.
How the review works
IOPPS checks every new page once, so people can trust what they find here. After that, your changes go live right away. A public page keeps a Canadian town and province or territory.
What IOPPS checks
- Your email is confirmed
- A Canadian town and province or territory
- Your answer to the identity question
- Your page’s links open
Your page stays private until it’s approved. Jobs you post go live as soon as you post them, with your organization’s name; your logo and page link join them once your page is approved.
Make a page when you’re ready
It’s free, and IOPPS reviews each page once before it’s public.
