About This Role

Attention Summer Students! Saskatoon Tribal Council is seeking motivated, community-minded summer students to support various programs and departments throughout the organization. These positions provide an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in an Indigenous-let organization and develop professional skills. Some students may qualify for summer term positions successfully completing their education program. Β  Employment term to commence between April and August 2026. The worksite may be at the Saskatoon Tribal Council main office or designated program site. Departments may include Wellness, Well-being Services, Education, Employment and Training, Justice, Shared Services (including IT), Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation and Cress Housing. Β  KSA(s) Ability to maintain confidentiality; Experience in community programs, administration, or youth leadership; Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions, and First Nations communities. Qualifications Registered or confirmed as a student for the Fall 2026 academic year in a secondary, post-secondary, vocational or technical program (documentation required). Must provide a current Canadian Criminal Records Check (CPIC); some positions may require vulnerable sector check. Students hired into Canada Summer Student Job Grant funded positions must meet the grant's eligibility requirements, including being 15 to 30 years of age at the start of employment. OTHER A valid driver’s license (class 5) may be required for some positions and must meet Saskatoon Tribal Council insurance requirements.Β  MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK FLEXIBLE SHIFTS (some positions may be scheduled for evenings &/or weekends).
