About This Program

Prepares students for health and community services careers in Indigenous communities. Covers Indigenous health perspectives, mental health awareness, addictions awareness, crisis intervention, community development, counselling skills, cultural protocols, elder knowledge, and healthy living promotion. Includes practicum in First Nations health centres.
